Haven't been up to a whole lot but guess I'll post something. I've been playing Mega Man Star Force lately, that's kept me occupied for a bit. I think the interview this week went pretty good, I might very well have that job secured. My aunt on the other hand knows some guy that owns some web development company and is pushing me to talk to this guy now, I don't really do web development, and their website says they require a certification from their list, which I don't have any of. So I don't think I'm going to be pushing hard on that place. For now I'd like to take what I can get ya know?

I might work on this place more in the future, for now though if I get the job I'm poking at, I'd rather not leave in a week for something better. Especially since the manager at the interview understood where I was coming from and said he was working there for the same reason I was trying to get in - holding a degree that means nothing in Canton and no one wanting calls or calling back. That might be the very reason I even got a call since that application was 4 months old or so.

Even if it's low paying I would like to have an income again of course. Would be nice to get a game more than when mom is feeling in a giving mood hehehe. Not to mention I need money to go to some cons again as well. I also want to remodel my costume from the last con, it was ok visually but the two main components - the suit and mask - were horribly uncomfortable heat wise. The suit may very well be barely fixable, but the mask might be more fixable. If I get an income again I may get a few cheap parts of each and see if anything works better, it's amazing what you can get surplus people want rid of cheap lol.

Haven't been out of the house a whole lot lately. I'm rather avoiding driving my car as insurance expiration is heading up soon. Actually my insurance company hasn't sent my suspension notice yet, but I don't expect it to stretch to the next anime club meeting, if they don't send it however, I'll probably go. They can't cancel on me without notification and I was told it'd come in the mail. But then again it would not be the first time they've farked my paper work up.

We'll see what happens with the meeting next week. I haven't seen anyone in a while and it'd be nice to get out. I miss ramendoodles too and haven't seen her there in a while either. Would be nice to get harmonies down too, but my car's barely in shape for freeway driving right now. I'd really like to repair that but I wonder if I wouldn't do better to get another car. I do like my car though, even if it is 14 years old haha. :o

Not much newish I suppose and don't feel like being lengthy. Got a job interview tomorrow we'll see how that goes. :o

In other randomness I found out, and this amused me far too much, that Wikipedia has an Esperanto version. It's language #16 in order of how many articles it has, this is pretty funny since they feature 252 languages I think it was. Not to mention a lot larger languages are past the #16 mark, largest probably being Cantonese. :O

I'm bored, should probably go to bed, and this is random but sorta important if you eat this stuff. A whole mess of canned meat products, mostly canned chili, got recalled, if you have any canned meat you better check this list or you might get teh botulism! and that's not good D:

Well I 'spose I should put up the results of my interview yesterday.

I'm not sure what to think yet. I walked in and the place owns the fourth floor of this building. I looked to the elevator and stairs and decided to be lazy and I did, I took the elevator. Good thing I did, because it came out into a very small room with a door locked with the company logo on it. Who knows where the stairs went!

Once I got in I did an actual application, and I guess this company is starting to do some aptitude test now before they hire people. After I did all that the interviewer was suppose to come poke me and talk about the rest of their hiring process. Unfortunately, he had a customer emergency and had to skeedaddle so the receptionist finished it off. I was pretty much told to get a real interview after that you had to be one of the people that had the absolute highest scores on their test. I'm hoping I get a shot at this, but after being out of work for over a year and the last semester of college not being too serious, I haven't had any big mental stimulation in quite some time.

They said they'd probably start calling people again in a week or two. I figure from a timing perspective by the time interviews are all done and someone is hired even if I get the job I won't have a check to take to Colossal Con, so it's likely I'd still be a blasted mooch or have IOUs to everyone and their brother. I don't have a problem with owing people if they don't care about getting their money after a check a week or two later but... ya know. We'll see how that goes.

On a funny note, anyone that had Jamie Kurtz at SSCT should know he hated flow charts and said no one used them. What I think is funny is the conference room I did my paperwork in had an unerased white board stuffed full of programming flow chart material ;)

Edit: Don't wanna flood up people's friend pages so I'll just edit this one. Holy beans that was fast my costume parts I ordered friday after that shop closed got here already today :O Now I just gotta order patches and it's done. I wore what I had around the house a bit, got a huge laugh out of mom and a huge scare out of the cats, I'm amused :3

Well here's some random stuff of the moment. Muggswigz's next hiring wave was done with, yeah I already said that in a comment on here but oh well. I was depressed but then I got a call for a job interview for a tech support assistant somewhere this morning. I have an interview Monday and hope that goes somewhere, it feels right now, not sure how it'll feel when I walk in the door.

In other randomness, I found a small stash of money from my last job I forgot I had. There was a bit more there than I thought, and I thought I'd order this suit that's part of my costume for Colossal. I went out to the local place today that had it, they said they only had cases though and no one in the vicinity had them single either like their website. So I said I'd go home and order it instead, well, I went to go order and decided to Froogle it again real quick and found another place with the same thing, except they're having a huuuuuuge sale. So score, I ordered that and managed to get something else cheap for a practical joke later for about or less than I was expecting to pay for the costume part.

The ad said to come in "after 2", I went in, wasn't the only one looking for an application either, which makes me think they're prolly gonna be loaded... and I was told to do the application and bring it back "after 10 tonight" for an interview o.o After 10, talk about not my brightest time of the day lol ;o
